Dear {first_name} {last_name}

With a great deal of success, Oakland Earth Day 2009 resulted in planting over 150 plants, trees, and flowers, general clean up, over 20 gallons of paint, and creation of a 12x20 mural. Over 150 students, teachers, volunteers, and community members contributed to our success. Such an event could not happen without everyone pulling together in an effort to make a difference in our community. Don’t take my word for it, see what everyone else has to say about the event and why they were there!

A special thanks to our event sponsors. This could not have happened without your support. Thank You!

Warmest Regards,

Milad Yazdanpanah
Executive Director

The mural effort was spearheaded by a local muralist Kristi Holohan who not only designed the mural, but donated all her materials and time.
